When will Futaba finally ship the 10C?

I see they pushed back the 10C shipment a month.

Do you think we will see the 10C before the 2008 flying season is over?

I looked it up after the WRAM show (end of Feb). and it was listed as late April on Tower's site. The Futaba rep at the show also said late April.

Around the 1st week of April they changed it to late May.

This is beginning to look like the TM-8 module. I had my on pre-order since November of last year and they finally have been released. Needless to say I cancelled my TM-8 order when I saw the 10C.

Well the 10C was only announced at the end of Jan 08. Before then there was no word of the 10C. So if it is available in May, I would say that is fairly fast to have it 4 months after new product announcement.

Hello all

Does anyone know if this Tx will be backwards compatible with other 2.4 receivers such as the R617FS that came with my 7C, their website for receivers http://2.4gigahertz.com/receivers/index.html shows that the R617FS will run on the 10C unit but it has a note of being used with the TM-10 Module which is not really what this new unit is or is it, I'm not sure ?

I would suspect it may not be capable of all the same features but can the Tx still run it as I don't think I can fit the R617FS in my 450 plus its an end pin so thats also a problem.

Also there is some mention of it under that TM-10 Module thing of it running in 7 Channel mode, does this basically mean no 2048 resolution and whatever else is only available to the 7 channel receiver such as obviously 7 channels, 5 point curves and such or is there anything more?

The 10C will work with your 617FS. The TM-10 is indeed the module which comes with the 10C.

Only the 8 channel and the 14 channel receivers are 2048. The rest are 1024. The is a setting in the software of the radio which you will to have to set. If you look on the 8 channel module there is a manual switch on it to set it into 7ch mode.

The good thing about the 10C is that you can also use the old 6 channel reciever (606FS) which you can't with the TM-8.

I just wish Futaba would come out with another 6 channel receiver with normal pins and not those stupid mini connectors. I know they have the converters but it is just more wire and at pretty costly iirc.

Sorry didn't mean to hit below the belt to all you Advent folks but this is starting to get ri-dam-diculous. First with the modules and now the 10C.

Maybe they should change the ship date to October 2015 and then hopefully they can get it out early...oh wait they will probably miss that date too.

The 10C manual is ready and finish, FCC approved. Futaba is going to hang it this week on its web site.
They are going to ship transmitters to the USA this week and they would arrive the next week
This transmitter will be available on the shops only after the half of June.

It will be nice to check out the manual. I do have a 10C on back order from my LHS. I was thinking of going with the 12FG but once the manual is up I can really what the 10C can do compared to the 12.

Futaba 10C...the wait is over!

Well guys, if you've not ordered your 10C yet you might want to do so right away as they WILL be here next week. We received word this morning that they have left the factory and will shortly be loaded onto an airliner. Without a doubt the first shipment will sell out very quickly. However, another shipment is coming in right behind the first one, in just a matter of days. This is one hot radio, don't miss out!

I just ordered a Futaba 10c Mode 2 Heli version from Tower Hobby. They have it in stock, but it is labeled under "limited quantity".
