Haven't gone 2.4 yet but I was wanting to run an 8 volt setup. Can I do this with my JR pcm rx using the spectrum reg for gyro and throttle?

no the pcm are only capable of 6 volts max you will have to wire the power of the servos by-pasing the receiver using only the signal wire so you can power them at 2 s power levels
once you go 2.4 spectrum or 2.4 Jr the receivers are capable of 2s power
the spartan gyro is 2s capable
the TJ pro and TJ rev max are 2 s capable
