Hi All

I have just changed my G-Force Head for a Kasama Head to see the difference and notice my Radix blades are way too tight in blade grips.
Is it ok to open up the grps slighty ormight that cause balance issues??

I used a small set of needle nose pliers in the blade grips. Then pulled the handles apart to open the gap a little. No problems at all.

Thanks for that, will try it. Meanwhile I have cme across another issue. When setting up +/- pitch to be 12/12 I have notice on positive pitch something in the head is getting strained when trying to go to full pitch. It looks like it is something to do with seesaw but can't be sure.
Did you have anything like this?

Hey Chris
No I've never had any problems like that. I've been playing with my setup trying to see if I could get it bind up. But I cant seem to figure out what could be happening with your head that might cause that strain. I know this is probably a really stupid question. But if your using the stock washout base could you possibly have it installed backwards? Or maybe a sticky ball link.
I've never seen anyone else mention this problem before.
The only other thing I can think of is that maybe your linkages are not the right length. When I built my Kasama head I replaced the ball links with the larger Align ones and had to rebuild all the linkages.

Thanks again for reply. I'll check the wash out (it's the sort of thing I would do!) As far as links I think they're ok.
I am wondering if the swash is not centred on shaft at mid stick, cos although I have got 12+/12- I did have to play around a lot with swash mix and linkage lengths to get right. If the swash is go too far down shaft to achieve positive, this might be causing the bind.
I have also noticed that up to about 8 degrees positive there is no interaction with fly bar but when I go up to 12 that is where is starts to interactand bind.

Oh well, keep trying!!!! Bit annoying cos I had G-Force/TT alloy head before and it flew beautifully. Just couldn't resist putting kasama head on as it looks so nice
