Logo 500 Belt Tension

Is it just me or is it really damn hard to set the belt tension on the Logo 500 - the combination of the closed tail case and the idler pullies being conceiled makes it very difficult. It seems that I have it either too tight, or I can hear the belt slapping inside the boom. Why is there never a middle ground?

Considering it's approximately 2 feet between belt pulleys and the Logo 500 stock boom diameter is smaller than a Logo 600 orTrex 600, hearing an occasional belt slap maybe isn't such a bad thing. Anyway, that's how I set my belt tension.
