Hey everyone.
I just finished building my Logo 500 and was going to stick the decals on the fibreglass canopy that came with it (I thought they came with plastic?) and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed by the quality of the canopy. Now, I have the 600 3D canopy, so I know what to expect, and that thing is a work of art. The 500 canopy is way too thin around the top rim and the grommet holes and has already split at the front of the top rim and around one of the grommets and it's only been installed once and very carefully. Also the gelcoat finish on the black part has locks of pits in it, especially along the length of the join and the join itself is very ragged.
Looks like it's going to have to be reinforced, sanded, primed and painted.
