It definitely stands out and the shape is sleek but I'm hoping that they're painted like that because they're prototypes.

Not bad. Looks sleek, but I think the colors should be swapped so the windshield is gray.

I like the originality but the colors are just OK.

I cant help but look at these pics and wonder what part is prototype.
The painted canopies look great , the LG looks like production run suff as do fuel tanks etc.

i dont know.. i really dont like those canopies. The shape is fine but that damn lightning bolt design looks too toy like. I wanna see some fades or something to really catch ur eye.

Proportions look fine to me...however, those lighting bolts need to go.

When the day comes, I only hope there are different color scheme options or even a good old fashioned UN-PAINTED canopy available.

The landing gear is one of the only common parts with the 600. The other is the spindle bearings which are the mainshaft bearings in the 600. Nice shape to the canopy.

I ask Jason about the canopy on another forum and this was his answer;

Is it my eyes or does the canopy on the far left appear to be narrower than the others? Take a closer look! Perhaps because there is no pipe or just an optical illusion with the lighting or the shadows. Just curious!

Anyone know if a plastic canopy will be made available? I like fiberglass, but a beater plastic canopy is hard to beat.

I'd like them to carry the paint schemes over from the fiberglass 450/500 canopies minus the lightning. A simple yellow, red, blue theme.

Are we sure this is the new canopy? To me it looks like the old or first run canopy. Jason said himself that he hated the canopy from the first run. That's why he did not show it in public at the LVFF. He said it was going to be modified. I think this is the first run canopy and because we have not seen any videos with a canopy I am assuming they are still working on it.

I hope they improve it becasue from these pictures, I think it needs a little more fine tuning. Don't get me wrong, I could live with it.

Whats with the lightning bolts? I notice that Ready Heli always has them in stock.....(500 & 600) Which makes me believe they don't sell well. I'm just curious who likes them so much.:tongue
The 700 looks great! As much as I deny wanting one...... I bet one will end up on the bench when they hit the shelves! Thanks to JK and everyone working so hard on it!:thumbup:

it doesn't look great with the base plate sticking out, but it will make it much easier to work on.

scooby61 has the lightning bolt canopy on his and he really likes it, so he will have matching canopies on his 600 and 700 if that will be the production canopy design. I prefer the yellow canopy that comes with the 500, I have the same one on my 450, and wish they made it for the 600n too.
