The New England Heli Crew has a
beautiful, gigantic, heli only field and we're holding our first event
at our new place. Columbus Day weekend is spectacular in New
England---with foliage and bright skies...on a big open heli field.

We'll have great demos, contests, and giveaways, AND many flight stations running at all times--you'll have plenty of room at each one. We expect a lot of pilots and we'll be reserving blocks of rooms

Does everybody attending need to sign up?

For instance, If I sign up and pay... but I'm bringing a friend with me who WON'T be flying.. does he also need to sign up and pay?

I've been too many FF's over the past 5 years and spectators have never had to sign up at any of them, unless of course they want to help support the event and get there name entered into the raffle, bit typically no.

I seldom fly at events, I let Steven my son handle that, I just pit and enjoy the event but I do register just to support the club and event as I also help SteveL and Paul Giles host our Port Charlotte FF.

In fact were also coming up from Florida to support the event and Steven will be there supporting Team Outrage so I will register but doubt I'll put a bird in the air.

Azlum, If you're friend isn't going to fly then he doesn't have to sign up. If he chooses to sign up to help support the club that'd be great. He could also buy a t-shirt and raffle tickets. Hope to see you guys there.

We're excited to announce that Joe Howard from East Coast Scale Helicopters http://www.eastcoastvario.com/ will be doing a scale static competition. We'll be posting more details when we nail them down. As of right now he's looking at Saturday and Sunday.

So bring out those hanger queens and show them off. Who knows, you may win.
