Hi all,

Well, I am now a member of the 550 club. Flew my baby for the first time today. Needed to lock the 2100T gyro and after that it was figure of eights. She is the bomb, really nice and smooth. Thanks again to ReadyHeli for getting her to me so quick. Finless, I know you don't like her anymore, but thanks for the build videos. Even with the CFS version it was a great help.

I must say the new Gaui 1500W-kv1100 motor looks close to a Z30 (from a distance) but seems not he greatest. I was comparing my temps to Zoobie's (who I fly with) and his Z20 is much much cooler. I am flying stock gears with 13 tooth pinion and she was pretty hot after 3-4min. My Kong powers are stil charging but they took over 1300mah out so seems not as efficient too.

Sorry no pics as I it was first flight so I did not ask Madam to waist her time photographing me. Next time.

Thanks for all the help guys! Helifreak.com rocks!

Cheers from South Africa,
- Erick

Congratulations and welcome in the 550 club :)
You're right... the 1,5kW is a real power house but it's real hard to find the right motor rpm so it doesn't create that much heat! I tried 4 different gears for my 5s setup. After changing several parts I can start again :(
Anyway, I'll maybe replace it with an Z20 with 1440KV so I don't get that much less power :)
Anyway, have fun with your hurri!
