x-cell gasser????

Is it CCPM or mechanical mix? If it's mechanical mix, it's a 1005 gasser, if it's CCPM, then it's a Spectra. The 1005 came out quite a while ago, sometime in the late 90s, the Spectra is more recent, off the top of my head it came out sometime in 2005 or so. Both are great helis, the 1005 is a little more tame, but flies great. Part are readily available for both.

excuse my ignorance, but i am new to helis. how do you tell if it is mechanical or ccpm??

Look at the swashplate (The round thing on the main shaft that the head is attached to, it'll be the lowest device riding on that shaft, it moves up and down and tilts). Does it have 4 balls with linkages going down on the outer ring, one facing forward, one back, and one on each side? Or does it have 3 balls on the outer ring spaced 120deg apart?

looks like 1 on each side and 1 forward and 1 back
