Well I am a sucker for a deal. I got a used Blade CP and another FP micro heli for pretty cheap off another forum site today.
The seller says the batteries for the CP are dead. Ok, Fine by me. 9.6V NiMH packs (HEAVY!). So I'm looking at the parts listing for the BCP on the E-Flite web site. They list what looks like 3 or 4 different motors/pinions. I am assuming the motor in each case is the same 370 motor as came stock on the bird with them just putting a different pinion on each (8, 9, 10 and 11 tooth gears).
So can somebody confirm to me that they are indeed the same motors just offered with different sized pinions?
I'm planning to go lipo. My only concern is if I go 3S how long will that rotten little tail motor last before letting the smoke of life out?
