Upgrade CX to CX2 radio . . .

I have a sweet flying CX2 (spektrum) installed. I was thinking about upgrading the CX electronics to be able to use this same controller. I think I've gotten myself more confused that ever though.

I was on in Ebay trying to sort through this and that. I see that CX uses the 4-in-1 controller and CX2 uses 3-in-1. How is that?

If I want to upgrade my CX to work from my CX2's TX wht exactly do I need to buy?

You will need a spektrum receiver, ar6100 will work fine. You will also need another transmitter, or you will have to rebind the one you have to each model everytime as the transmitter cannot be bound to more than 1 receiver.

Thanks for the info. I didn't even think about the "Binding" issue... .I think I'll just leave it as it is.
