dx6i throttle hold problem

hello guys I have a problem hope someone can shed some light on it.I have my throttle hold set at 0 throttle.I power up my trex to about 50% throttle then flick the throttle hold on and the motor shuts off as it should but then when I flick it off again the motor starts spinning up by itself and won't shut off even with the throttle stick at 0.The only way I can get it to reset is by turning of the model and then turning it back on.Have I set the throttle hold properly or is this happening because I haven't set it right.This one is really puzzling me hope someone can help.thanks p.s I am using a flightech synergy 35a esc don't know if that is the problem because in the manual it says the esc reads 0 stick when powering up to work properly just wondering if the throttle hold is confusing the esc I woud of thought a esc of this quality would be set to allow throttle hold could be wrong though. over&out

Your ESC isn't properly matched to your throttle range - try reducing the low stick end travel point on your throttle range
