do you use your own regular controller for this? I don tknow about others but I kinda dont like that..
I use my dx7, it allows me to learn how to hold it and what ways are best to, so when your at the field you have learned how to balance it and other things.

Disadvantage is that your tx will wear more, advantage is that whatever you do, you do it with what you're used to, including switch settings etc...
Alternative is to buy a cheap tx and use that for that purpose. USB thingies don't work.

I got a DX6i with my Blade 400 and that tx is just about perfect for Phoenix - I like the way using your actual Tx that all the flight curves are setup the way you like. Specktrum and JR just plug straight into the supplied 3.5mm jack lead supplied without adaptors needed for Futaba

To me, the best Sim is the L14. It has a tremendous realistic feel compared to a Logo 600, and craches seriously realistic. Updates are easily available online at a small fee or from your LHS. It also comes with various options on the motors, blades and you can even strech it. There is even an option for some night flying and one-to-one combat or dogfights. (The last i've only tried with and won with my T-Rex 450, but that is a crap sim.) Limitations is small servos though, but, unless you are DJ, you can learn on this sim rather a big lot.
Off course there are the old and trusted grease jobs like the Raptors, but you do need a serious old PC and slow Hard disk with very little RAM to get your monies worth. A mono-tone 14" CRT usually works nice with them.
my 2p.

Lithiumstatic, did you tweak the Knight 3D to get it to fly more like a Logo or is it good the way it is?

No I have not.... yet. It has been tweaked a tad to fly like the Knight 3D that it is.
