Many out there.
Real flight is good quality in my opinion.
Reflex is good but use proprietary usb interface. Not always a 100% reliable

I've used Real Flight G3.5 and it's good....but, I bought a Phoenix.

the helis fly more like the real deal.
It has free upgraded software
EASY to setup your radio to work with it
It's cheaper
Best of all you can fly with your buddies online!!!

I didn't think I'd care for it but I thought what the hey! I'm in love with this thing. I've been teaching myself new stuff without crashing! Yes I can tell you it's worth the money imho.

Hey Jeremy,

I've been planning on getting a sim when I can stop buying actually heli stuff. One thing no one has been able to tell me is whether or not the most important thing is better on Pheonix.......the blade farts man! Do they sound better than RF? I really think the sims need to have better audio. The blade farts and electrics that sound like electrics are a big part of the experience.

I don't really remember what the blade fart:YeaBaby: sounds like on the RF but I think it's better on that one. Good blade fart is nice but I'm more into a heli flying real on a sim than sound.... Never the less, Phoenix is ALWAYS coming out with new FREE service packs and such so I say it's a matter of time before the sound gets better. I do know some of the Phoenix guys on here have made there own sound files for download I just haven't got around to trying them out. I still think you will be impressed.

Note* Some of the helis in Phoenix need a little tweak in the settings to make it more like your own heli. Also it's not perfect but after playing around with this sim I must say it is great and has more advantages than disadvantages compared to "other" sims.

I've got both 3.5 and Phoenix - the graphics are way better on Phoenix - its great to plug in your own Tx without having to go via the interlink box. I think the perspective also better on Phoenix though the physics may be a bit better on RF

I have Real flight G4 and man, I'm really enjoying it! The graphics are amazing. I'm flying the Logo 600 3D and 500 3D V-Bar a lot. Both the V-Bar Logo fly awesome. They feel like they are floating or very lightly loaded as compared to the other helis in the sim. I'm also flying a Logo 10 with A123 cell and find it to have a "toned down" kind of feeling. I'm not at all disappointed with the sim.

I've had RCAerochopper (if you can remember back that far), RealFlight Deluxe, RF2, and tried RF4. I was always in search of that realistic feel but all of these never came through for me.
Then I got Phoenix and I found what I was looking for. The feel is much more like actually flying, plus you don't have to shell out another $200+ everytime another version comes out - the downloads are free from their website.

I'm planning on getting Phoenix when I don't keep finding parts to buy. One thing that is consistent over and over again from people i've talked to or read about is that everyone who has tried any others then went to Phoenix never went back to their other sim.

I have RF G4 and Phoenix and I like Phoenix better. Although RF G4 is very good too. You won't go wrong with either one.

People don't fly helis around here, I wanted someone to fly with and Phoenix does that for me. We have a "Phoenix Social Group" here on the freak and a few of us get together at night and fly using a voice over IP called Team Speak (free download). I'm hoping Will James gets Phoenix and starts putting up 6-8 hour flight sessions for the freak users. That would be cool.

I use Phoenix too. Used to have Reflex, but I like Phoenix better, and flying online with my buddies is just fun.
Unfortunally there's still a couple of annoying bugs while flying online, but I'm sure that Phoenix will fix that as well with the rate they're putting updates on the net.

I say Phoenix is the best right now. I have Aerofly (which is good) and have flown Realflight at the hobby shop and Phoenix is better in my opinion. Plus they are constantly making improvements which you don't have to keep paying for. Ooo, and I almost forgot...water! It's fun playing in and over the water. There are just a lot of little things that seem to put Phoenix on top.

For those of you using Phoenix, what heli model are you using to "practice" for the Logo? I don't see a Logo listed as one of their models.

Thanks.

If you live in the states you order it direct from them ! Don't worry shipping is very fast (I got mine in 2 or 3 days as I recall).
