Me enjoying the CRAP out of my logo500... This was the day I tested 550 blades, a few pinions, etc....

I am planning to get the L400 stock kit then upgrade to the vbar before the end of the flying season. BTW I'am thinking it might be time for me to start thinking about a Gyro 101 similar to my brushless 101.

I get freakin 15 PM's a day because in my gyro videos I don't explain the "how it works" facts. Like "why when I move my rudder stick only 1/3 the way the slider is already max over?" ..... Stuff like that! Yes a gyro 101 is needed HFG... I plan to do a video later but you doing a post etc would ROCK! DO IT!

I don't know SQUAT about the L400... All i can say is my 500 is one of my favorite helis THAT"S A FACT JACK! MAN talk about performance! My Rex600E has not flown since I got this heli! Chances are it wont either until I go 8S on it but by the time that happens I will probably be into V-stabi ;)

Well Bob my thesis proposal is due in the middle of may. After my prosposal is submitted i will do a little write up. I just need to brush up on the coriolis force and such. I actually spent a year doing research on MEMS devices (not MEMS gyros specifically tho) before i shifted focus to PLLs. I've done a 20min presentation on MEMS Gyros for a class i had last year, shame i didnt get it on video.

The third picture was in fact the marine layer getting pushed back to the mountains. It had JUST rolled out and gave us sunny skies and the minute the sun came out I was out flying! I was just starting a loop or something when he shot that. Yes looks cool doesn't it!

As for flybarless.... Well it was a tough choice on WHICH heli to do it on. I just got this in the mail today:

But alas because of the ease and cost to convert the head, I am going to do a setup / review video on this using my Trex 500. Reason is I don't have to buy a head, etc. Kevin (fireup) makes the anti rotation fork and grip arm spacers for the Trex500 conversion and of course he is right now making me a set.

If Mikado wants me to do a V-stabi setup video series on my L500 I would be glad too! They have my number and can call me anytime. I for sure would not hesitate if they asked. Inge and Ralf are great people to deal with too.
