just got a n9 last weekend and would like to know whats the best battery and reg to use in it and where do you put all the parts (rx, batt, reg, gyro etc) please help with photos

I use the duralite failsafe 6v 6a regulator and a 2500mah 7.4 lipo. this gives me 7 flights with the 8717 servos and 10 flights with hitec 5985mg servos.next N9 will have the 5985mgs.

I use the 2 in 1 Align with 2S1P Thunder Power 3400 mAh lipo. S9451 20 flights and no probleme !

that's a very good idea with the align reg.I do that before the fromeco and i think i was wrong to change it.Also the glow igniter is very helpfull + the battery monitor.
Considering this is the best mod that you can do.The only think is that you have to use a step down reg for the tail servo:thumbup:

Here is my N9. I am using a Spektrum AR7100R with 8717's (even on throttle). Makes for a really clean setup. I am also using a 2S 4000mAh lipo.

I like the 7100 rx.I think i'll go for that..:thumbup:
