Carbon fiber/Graphite airframe

For my next project I am considering using pieces of carbon fiber and or graphite rod in the airframe.I have been told by a few people that this may cause interference with the receiver in the plane.I just want to really research this myself before I go on hear-say.Does anyone have any first hand experience with this sort of issue?

jets have been using carbon fiber in the frames for years w/o many issues.. you just have to be cautious of where you put your antenna's to make sure they dont get blocked out.

if your doing a "stick" structure out of carbon rods i dont think you'll have to much of an issue.
