I just got pinged that ReadyHeli and a few others now have upgraded body retainers in stock. These are not easy to install, but they're a simple, good upgrade. $1.99.

They sure are a lot better than the stock ones! I had replaced mine with align plastic trex body posts for a while, and just last weekend I had a bad crash while flipping out of an inverted hover... stupidly too low to the ground, too late on the collective, and with a bit of a breeze. Plowed it, and broke one of the plastic align posts in half. Had it been metal posts, it would probably have cracked the upper cf frame... something has to give. So I am a bit hesitant about these metal posts with the way I crash lol. But I'm outa plastic posts and had these new ones in hand. They sure are a pain to install, but SOOOOO much easier to get the canopy on and off, and looks really great! - the stock screw posts love pulling the canopy gromets out, these ones don't :)
