Hello All!!
This is probably a dumb question, but I just don't want to end up with any issues because I didn't ask so here it goes.I've got a couple of trex 450 v2s that I've been flying with a 6ex 2.4 ghz and I've got a 7c 2.4 ghz arriving any day.The v2s are completely stock(as far as electronics). What I'm wondering is if it's a good idea or is it necessary to reprogram the align ESCs with the new radio? Just wondering if the throttle end points are different or would change the ESC function in any way? Sorry if I should have posted this in the 450 forum, but I figured I'd start out here seeing as it involves the radio.
Thank You all in advance for your replies! I can't imagine trying to do this without all of you and this forum.RC heli enthusiasts in this area are as rare as a bigfoot sighting!! LOL!!

I do not have to reprogram your esc, don't worry about it.

I went from a Futaba 9CHP to Futaba 7C 2.4 and just copied programming from one the other and went flying. The only thing the esc does to radio is supply current to your receiver, the rest is for servos and moter which has nothing to do with your RX. Go fly and have fun.

I did the same thing when I went from the 6ex 72 mhz to the 6exh 2.4 ghz.I 'll try copying the programming. The menu's from the 6exh to the 7c are quite a bit different but I think I'll try using all the same %'s.I'll just double check my pitch curves with a guage and spin'um up and see how they fly.
Thanks for your input Stephane. Happy flying!!
