New heli only club in VA

Virginia Flyers (http://www.virginiaflyers.com) is about to open for new membership. The club field is near Manassas Virginia. The club is for RC Helicopters only. The location does not allow rockets or fixed wing aircraft.

It will be up to the club to decide if they wish to register the field. I am not a member or representative. I will ask if they wish to do so.

Where in Manassas? My kids are gonna be there and Stafford a few weeks in June and I'm gonna come out to pick 'em up and spend a couple-three days at my Bro-In-Law's place in Manassas... Maybe I'll bring a 450 and join you guys...

Not to be a pain but if you register the new field on the site http://usmap.rcheli.dk/?club you can make a direct link to the field like this http://usmap.rcheli.dk/?mypinid=79 just change the id at the end with the one from the new reinstated flying field  That way you can show where the field are located.

Skiddz, I'll ask the powers that be at the field opening on May 10th. I can't see why it should be a problem but, as I said in a previous post, I am not yet a member or rep. It will be the closest heli field to Manassas I am aware of.

You might want to make a trip up to Chantilly while there to say hey at Hobby Hangar. They are a good bunch of guys and a good LHS. There is a busy, non-sanctioned field near Hobby Hangar you could fly at also. Ask at HH about The Hill.
