I am almost finished with construction and setup of my first heli, a Beam E4. I'm ready to mount the Scorpion ESC and fit the battery etc. but have a few questions.

Should I use a velcro strip on the battery and mounting plate or just use the velcro strap?
What do you use to mount the ESC?
I've noticed a lot of people have the tail servo mounted at an angle. Is this so there is a straight shot to the the tail slider link? Mine lines up perfectly when the servo is parallel to the boom and I use the last hole on the horn.BTW, the setup vids and all the posts have helped tremendously. My thanks to everyone. :clappp

Both.

On my Diablo, I used Velcro to hold it to the frame and a nylon zip tie to secure it. You could probably do something similar on the E4.

That's the basic premise. You don't necessarily want to use the last hole. It may require that the servo be "dialed down" to smaller movements in the gyro, which will reduce tail pitch resolution. For most gyros, you'll want to use a hole that gives full pitch travel near the 100% mark on the gyro's travel setting.
