Own a trex 450, just but a X-cell 60 custum. First expérience with nitro, doing initial testing, left the ground a foot (around 4-5 deg pitch) , and engine not responding correctly, not stable, How do we know if it is because too rich, too lean or forcing (not enough throtle for the pich), I have notice that with more throtle it is running much better, but it lifting at only at 2-3 deg of pitch
Pleace looking for tips.
Thank you

How much smoke is coming out of the exhaust? If it's considerable, you can try leaning it out a couple of clicks at a time.

I just hovered our Xcell 60 carbon for the first time yesterday with a YS 61. I set the throd and pitch curve's just like they say on Raptortechnique.com. It worked well enough for a starting point.
