Finally i mounted the multigov and set it up.
This is my setting:
1st speed - Off (rpm below 500)
2nd speed - 1900 full governer for soft flying and blade tracking
3rd speed - 2200 full governer for hard 3d
thinking switching the 3rd speed to 2250 overspeed mode with 100 - 75 - 100 curves.
Is this safe to do?
I'm using Radix 600 blades and 30% wildcat helimix on 50 hyper

Will 50 RPM make or break the bank? I bet I'd be okay.

HHEHEHE
I started flying 1900 than 1950 than 2000 and now 2250.
I'm afraid increasing 50 will reach to 3000 lol
I just want to make sure that someone is realy running on 2250 and its safe.
thank you

I hear you...I've still got mine set to 1900 full gov..I'm still impressed with that for now. Like you, I am sure I'll step it up in short order:thumbup:

I also run in the 2200 rpm range. I dont see anything wrong with this, flys amazing. I am also running radix, os and wildcat. keep running it:)

i've been at 2100 in idle 2 for a while, tempted to increase but I worry about hurting the motor over time, how fast are these little engines spinning with a headspeed of 2200, 2250, or 2300?:confused:

2200 = 18,700
2250 = 19,125
2300 = 19,550
Practical rpm: 2,000-20,000
Output:1.9 hp @ 17,000 rpm

So I understand that runnin on 2250 will hurt the engine soon?
19125 engine rpm !!!!
the top rpm is 20000, is it ok to run the engine for about 7 or 8 minutes at 19125 rpm?
BTW today I received a set of SAB carbon blades, the istruction in the box is saying that it is not safe to exceed 2000 head rpm.
Any one has idea what about radix??
I know many many ppl r runnin them over 2200 but is there somewhere writtin how much they can handle?

Serge
