I’m new to flying heli’s, and I’m yet to hover my T-rex. I’ve been working with the T-rex 450se v2 downloaded from Reflex’s website and using my EX6 to control it. The problem that I’m having is when I give the heli collective it banks hard to the left. I’ve tried changing as many settings on the TX and on the sim but I’m still having this problem. If anyone has had this problem on the sim or on a real heli please let me know what I can do to fix this.
Thanks All,

I'm using a 6EX transmitter with this sim and for some reason I think its enabling Revo Mix. I haven't seen where anyone else has had this problem so I'm wondering if its just my Tx or cable.
I've email Reflex about this problem with no response. Has anyone contacted Reflex's support? Let me know what you thought.

freakinnovice,
How do you have your tx setup? Make sure you have selected a non-ccpm heli function on the tx.

Can you explain why I shouldn't use a ccpm setup on my TX for a ccpm heli?

freakinnovice,
The software works slightly differently than the normal radio link to the heli. Here is excerpt from the Reflex help menu.
2. Settings in your radio
If possible you should define a memory segment especially for REFLEX.
Make sure the radio is set to PPM mode. PCM signals will not work with any simulator. Please use a standard swash-plate type or disable any swach-plate mixing such as 3x90°, 3x120° or others. Beginners disable all pitch, expo and tail rotor mixing as this is available in the REFLEX by default. Advanced pilots may refer to the usage of helicopter mixing software (file:///C:/Program%20Files/REFLEX/english.hlp/helmix.htm).
If you have free channels and switches in your radio you may want to assign these switches to channels so that they can be used for autorotation or landing gear functions.

That did it. I never saw thoughts directions so your advice saved me from using the Reflex disc as a coaster and getting a different Sim. After weeks of working on this sim, I'm finally working on learning to hover.:YeaBaby:
Thanks for your help,

Read all of the help screens so you know what this software can do - it's a lot :0)
Have fun!
