Flightpower Evo-RX Battery Question

Hi,

I just bough a 2s2p Evo Rx battery and it has a balance lead and then TWO other red/black pairs coming out of it. Why is this? Are they just duplicate leads so I can charge through one without unplugging the other from my 2-in1? I am a little confused!

I've never used a 2p lipo before and it doesn't seem to say in the instructions.

They are duplicate, yes.
I have soldered both to one Deans on mine.

So in that case, is it safe to leave one connector plugged in to my 2-in-1 and charge through the other connector? I'm guessing that this is why there are two connectors?

Is there anything else I need to know about charging a 2s2p pack or can I treat it just the same as a norma 2s1p pack?

Yes, treat it as a normal 2s pack.

Even though you can, and the other connector is for that purpose, i would really recommend you to charge the battery outside the model, you wouldn't want it to blow up there....
