I know this is written somewhere, but I can't find any reference, I just want to compare to others.
My settings are:
Pitch +/- 15
Cyclic +/- 9
Can I push my cyclic settings much further before binding?

I don't know, why don't you check? :)
Seems a little on the high side to me. Most 500 owners seem to run with 7 degrees cyclic
and about 13 -/+ degrees collective.

This is checking (starting a thread) :)
I pushed cyclic to 11 degrees and I didn't experience binding (bench test), but I've burnt out 6 servos on my 450 because I didn't check my cyclic settings, which happened to be 12 degrees, so before I burn out more servos and end up crashing, I wanted to compare.
If memory serves me correctly, a good all round setting is:
+/-15 pitch, 8 degrees cyclic
