Hello Guys,
Im abit worried about a play between the metal flybar control arm and the flybar frame on my new T-rex se v2 heli. there is just about one mm or so but should it be like this?
Some of the distance for the flybar setup seems to be abit wrong in the manual aswell. Has anyone els taken notice of this?

There is a raised nose on the flybar control rod that fits in a recess on the flybar control arm. It's possible that your control rod is not seated properly.
The measurements for the flybar extending from the cage are not accurate. Just make sure the flybar and paddles extend equally from the flybar control frame.

Thanks for the reply but it seems like my setup is correct, I have red that it is pretty common to have some play if you have the plastic flybar control arm but not when u have the metal ones. I will use some small washers or grind the flybar control rod abit I think.

Maart,
Something I noticed when assembling the aluminium head on the V2: (hopefully I can describe this properly) when you screw the flybar control arms into the flybar rods it will seem like they are tight before they are fully seated - there is a little lip on the ends of the flybar control rods that must seat inside the flybar control arms. It takes quite a bit of torque on the Phillips head screws to get the rods to seat fully (just below stripping the screw heads kind of torque). If they are not seated inside the arms you will have play in the set-up. No grinding or washers are required. Just like GreenCello said - really look at the flybar rod ends closely to make sure they are seated.

I may not be on the right track here - so this may have nothing to do with the original question, but in this picture (hopefully I enclosed it properly) where I show "no lip here" i had to really torque the screws into the flybar rods to get them to fully seat. My first attempt had very small gaps here - which could explain why maart had play in the connection. Mine may have just been slightly on the edge of spec.

thanks for all the tips but my flybarcage looks the same as Johns. I have tried to grind the flybar control rod abit on the sides of the raised nose even to get a better fit but without any result of the gap between the flybar arm and the seesaw holder. So I have used the small washer that came in the sparepart kit with the rex. So its good now :)
