Autos without a flybar

For those of you who have a flybarless heli (still waiting for mine to ship), how are autos without a flybar?
Same? Better? Worse?

Pretty much the same (maybe a tad better in performance), exept for the touch down. Just got to be as level as possible and be prepare to counteract the sensor because of the slower headspeed.

Just curious, is there a way to turn off or turn down the gain on the cyclic gyros while in hold to help with this problem?

If you're using a vbar you can switch banks when you switch flight modes using the AUX channel. Depends on whether your radio can do it.
