Date: May 16th thru the 18th
The Bayside R/C club will be hosting an informal Helicopter fun fly this May. We did
not plan any formal events due to BART’s restriction on cutting the grass and killing
weeds. The grass did not grow as much as we expected and we have had a number of
people who asked if we could still have an informal event. Our club gave us the ok,
so come join us and lets enjoy a weekend of heli flying.
-Event starts noon on Friday and ends noon on Sunday.
-No hookup camping will be available at no charge.
(Campers can come in as soon as Thursday afternoon, Contact CD)
-This event will not be sanctioned, but all flyers must be AMA members to fly
-No registration fees
-There will not be a dinner but we plan to have barbeque hot dogs and
hamburgers available at lunch time on Saturday.
-We will not have a pilots raffle, but hope to have a general raffle for those
who are interested.
-Scale flying will be at the south end of the field. Sport and 3-D flying will
be at the north end of the field. The runway will be available for all types
of heli flying.
-The R/C off road tracks will be open and available if you have a off road
car or truck you would like to run.
-The event will be open to any RC heli vendors who would like to display
or sell heli related stuff. There will be no charge for vendors.
-We do not have any competitions planned but open to any suggestions.
-Night flying will be allowed on Saturday night if anyone is interested.
If you plan to join us or have any questions, please give me a call or
email me for more info.
