Is anyone flying the Airwolf fuselage http://www.ka-planes.com/inc/sdetail/9792 I hope it is good, since I have one on order. Has anyone seen a video?

Looks cool but I thought the Gaui 200 was a 3d machine.:confused:

I got it in the mail yesterday. All I have to say is Damn! this thing looks bad ass! The pics don't do it justice. It is heavy I just hope it flys well. I will post some pics of the build process.

You might need to run a 3S setup with that weight.

This fuse is great! proud to say that I now have 4 flights and it is still in one piece. Ok this is the low down.

Yes it is one heavy mother! Ready to fly 13.5oz

Yes a TP 910mah 2 cell gets this thing off the ground and it flys very scale like. Lets face it there is not many scale birds that are doing 3D.

Yes I did say 2 cell

If you mount all of your stuff like I did in the pics it should ballence out. I had to add about .5oz of lead to the nose because I am using the Micro Helli tail and it is a bit on the heavy side.

You will have to grind the lip of the rear fuse to get the guts stuffed in it.

Flight times do suck! I can fly 5min but I will time mine at 4min to be on the safe side. I am going to get a 1300mah 2cell to test out. Hell after 4min my nerves are shot anyway.

The landing gear that comes with the fuse is balsa! WTF were they thinking! that crap broke before I even got the thing spooled up. I made new gear out of a sheet of alluminum I had and used the balsa crap for measurement.

I am unable to measure the current draw on the bat because to get a reading that is worth anything it will have to be done in flight to put a load on the motor. So there is no way to know but you can be assured it is alot higher than with just the canopy. That is the price of flying scale.

My T-Rex 450 in the Hughes 500 fuse flys and feels the same as the Gaui 200 in the Airwolf fuse.

Well I hope this helps those that are thinking about throwing down some clams for this. If you are looking for a good looking fuse this is the one for you, but remember scale flight is not the same as 3D or sport flying.
