Can I use this micro digital servo on the tail of a 400 size heli with the gyro in digital mode? I've read it cant handle the pulse rate of digital and may get burned up fast?

The S3154 is able to handle the higher frame rate (e.g. 333 hz) that's sent when a gyro or gov is switched into digital mode.
The frame rate is the speed that the position setpoint signal is sent to the servo, normal is 50 to 72 hz. A faster frame rate could be harder on the servo if the signal is changing a lot within those extra frames, but might actually be easier on the servo if it makes a smaller correction faster, which eliminates the need for a larger correction later.
