Hi guys,
does anyone know of a four-stroke conversion kit for the Hirobo 300 or of someone who has done it?
I am interested in rebuilding my 300 and considered electric, but I think a four-stroke would sound much better in this helicopter.
Any suggestions/comments welcome.
Thanks in advance for any info.

I tried a four stroke heli many years ago and it frankly sucked. :D
The sound was not what I wanted as it was too fast for a "scale" sound and the power was terrible.
This was in a Hawk (Phoenix) and with an OS 46. Now granted I should have gotten a 52 for in it and my power problems would have been better, but a local pilot had one with the 52 and it was not much better.
Electric would be a great way to go, but the sound would be off with that also. However you could potentially gear down teh 3 blade head and make it sound better with electric.
The flat scale muffler from Century seems to have a nice sound and mated to a 32 might be ok.

Thanks for the response and info.
The 4 stroke heli Century sold used a 52 from what I remember. The Rotory Mag article had good things to say about it, but I sometimes take those articles with a grain of salt if you know what I mean.
I know a guy (Emile you out there??? :D ) who may have a three bladed head for the 300.... hmmmm....
