Thinking on putting a funfly in Kankakee Illinois Need input

I am thinking of talking to our board members in our club about putting on a Funfly in Kankakee Illinois. This would be our first ever. How many people would be interested in attending or live relatively close? I would contact vendors for raffel prizes and so on. I am not sure about how to go about doing this but any info would help. We have a large field so space is not really a prolbem. It would include gassers as well as nitro to electric.
