hey guys forgive im new at programmable tx's ok so i got almost eveything setup right as far as curves go and all the right numbers for the gyro hh mode and rate mode but none of the switches on the radio work for example if i put the gyro assigned to switch (A) down being hh and up rate it also does nothing its stuck in hh mode even if i pull the ch 5 wire off the receiver (the single orange wire going to gyro) it still stays in hh mode what should i do ive also assigned it ot switch E with the idle up switch which works fine and it still has no effect on the gyro mode i have it set to
(N 50%)
(A 72%)

The gyro I was using was the esky hh one so I got tired of it and bought a gy401 yesterday and it works fine and is 1000 times better  but everything I tried with the esky one didn't work

It is the mode you run any heading hold gyro in with a 7C or 9C
Really it only effects what the radio displays to the user as far as the gain but if you're running a 401 for example and set A60 then the gyro is seeing 60 percent gain in AVC mode, same with N40 is 40 percent gain in rate (normal) mode.
You could accomplish the same thing with end points, this is just a user friendly way to do it.
