According to my headspeed calculator you would need a 34T pinion to retain same headspeed on 4S . Any comments from the experts ?
Been searching for 35T mod 0.6 pinions while waiting for 130T or 140T main gears . After disasterous Megaforce lipos , just invested in 4S Outrages , so willhave to stick to 4S for a while !

yea , the South African HDX importer that we use to get our spares tried to place an order for us today , sadly sold out!
So Steve, please hurry up so that we can also join the 130/140T club !
What is the difference beween CNC and plastic mould - accuracy , durability ?

cnc gears are made of delrin, more durable then other plastic gears. delrin gears are made by CNC machines so it's extremely accurate and run true, no wobble, but costs much more.

The 130/140 gears are really for those that want to make the jump up to 6S. I believe that you will not be able to find any .6 module pinions above maybe around 26T or 27T.
Currently I am running a Tonic-X Z20 1470kv on 6S using a 13T Rhino Gear Pinion and a 130T gear with good results...
I would also be concerned with current issues running 4S and such a large pinion...if you can find that large of a pinion...
jumping up to a Tonic-X Z15A 1620kv motor and a 17T pinion would probably be a better choice on 4S with a 130T main gear...as that would put your max headspeed around 2750...
the Tonic-X Z20A 1700 would be another choice...if wanting to stay with 4S
Hope this helps some...

Thanks Greg - after the not so successful investment in Megaforce 4S lipos , and having now further invested in Outrage 4S - will have to stay on 4S for a while
If I go Tonic 1620 or 1700, I will keep the standard 850KV for when I want to go 6S .
CF blades will also be good but they are damn scarce and expensive currently
What is the highest headspeed that will be acceptable on the 500?
