I have practically finished setting up my new intrepid, the only thing I canīt really get right is the tail, If I give it a hard rudder input and let go the tail will stop but will wag for a couple of seconds , its like its a little "loose". If I increase the gain on the servo, things improve but then my servo starts to get a little too hot. Any Ideas?

Couple of things to consider,
What is your headspeed?
Have you set the tail up exactly as described in the manual? IOW, is there any drift in Normal or NON HH mode?
Is this the same servo as previously with the melted disk?
Have you lubed the tail shaft where the pitch slider goes back and forth?
Is the ENTIRE tail control system free and smooth? Best way to check is to disconnect all the linkages and move each segment by itself, reconnecting things one at a time and feeling if the system is still free at each connection.
Any more "ultrasonic" experiences? :)

Hi Chris, yes I setup the tail as per the manual, yes I lubed the slider and everything is super smooth. Its the same servo but the tail wasn't holding before the ultrasonic experience either so I don't think thats it.
Ultrasonic experiences disappeared after I put the velcro strap on the tail rod.
After half a gallon I feel the engine is begining to settle but the tail is driving me crazy.
