hi i think my tail motor on my blade cp went bad. got another motor and frame (came with the tail motor wire) and soldered the wire and motor. when i spool it up the tail motor runs but hardly at all. is this possibly a problem with the reciever? Thanks:(

i dont think it could be the rec are the bearings in the tail moving freelee it may be a folty tail motor or you lost your 3-in-1

tail rotor seems to move freely. should i remove the motor first and then spin the tail
rotor? say it is the 4 in 1 are those expensive to replace? one more thing...i tested the motor
with a AA battery and it spins...probably is the 4 in 1 now right?

it dose sound like the 4-in-1 the only prob is thos things are 89.99 your better of geting a gyro and a 5amp esc thats if your main motor is spining up

main motor still spins up....so i can keep the existing 4 in 1 and plug in a gyro and 5 amp esc for the tail motor?

i should probably also add that i just want to keep this heli stock. i got it used to
practice with till get good enough to fly my trex 450. i took too big a step went i bought
the trex thinking i could fly it after i had this shitty little syma 2ch heli that never flew right lol. maybe i'll like it enough to upgrade it later but for now its just a stepping stone.

new problem...took it to my lhs and found out the tail motor working properly.
proportional adjustment doesn't work...no matter how much i adjust it the tail just
keeps spinning when i'm trying to hover it. is the guy at the hobby shop right
saying that tail motor give burst of the rotor to keep the tail from spinning? he
showed me that the tail spinned up with left rudder but i guess i still don't understand.
anyone think the problem is the 4 in1?

Yep sounds like the 4 in 1 is bad, the tail motor must spin to provide opposite forces to counteract the torque of the main motor. The proportional is what controls how much to spin the tail.Know that you must adjust the proportional with the heli battery unplugged, you cannot adjust the proportional with the heli powered up.
In all honesty i would not use the blade cp, I would get the T-Rex up and going, its 100 times better flying than the blade cp. Sure it may be a little bit intimidating at first, but if you use these videos http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=11373 you should be good to go. Have you tried a RC flight simulator like Real flight or Phoenix? Best tool to learn to fly a heli out there is a simulator.

well i just got it...on the bottom of the reciept it says "all sales are final" so i'm stuck
with it (wish i would have just got it new:(). hopefully my lhs will replace the 4 in 1 or allow me to trade it up. i hope this is the last problem i have with it:(
