View Full Version : Who warrenties Hacker motors?

My brand new hacker motor just burnt up today. I finially fixed my auto hub and tryied to do my maiden w/ TPX 6S 5000mah batt. I had 20T .5mod pinion w/ 550mm blades.. After inital take off the motor started smokin. I looked at teh coils inside and they were black..

my set up..
L500 3D
A40 10L
Jazz 80
TPX V2 5000
hitec 5925 servos

Did the motor come from the same guy that sold you the kit?

Do you have a receipt for the motor? Does the guy that bought it off you have it to fax or scan for you? If so than you might have luck and can go back to the vendor, if not than the distributor. My guess however is if you or the guy you bought it off of have no proof of purchase you might be SOL.

Dude that sucks man! Sorry to hear about all the issues you've been having. Wonder if the one way and the motor frying are related?

who do I contact for warrenty repair? The guy who sold me the stuff had nothing to do with it.. I think i just got unlucky..

If you or the guy that you bought it from have the receipt than contact the vendor it was purchased from, if not than you could try the NA distributor that is AeroModel Inc.

The guy you bought it from may or may not have anything to do with it, but the reason I asked was that even the distributor is probably going to want a reciept showing date of purchase since every warranty I know of has a time limit.

He should have some paperwork showing date of purchase.

Yes, apparently they distribute both the Mikado and the Hacker products. The site is
