I was talking with a fellow flier at the local field, and he stated that he could not use the MP5 on his 600 N Pro due to the port on the Muffler was to short and it hit the Base plate. Any truth i this? He recomended the hitori muffler.

Has any one tried the MP5 on the TT Redline .53 yet? Any issues on tunning with that setup? it is a larger engine and I am wondering if it is not resonating propperly.

Yes it can hit the base plate but a little SMALL work with a dremmel will solve that!

Can't help ya with the MP5 and the TT redline...

I'm running the TT 53 redline and MP5 and it's a great combo in my opinion. You have to remove a little material from the baseplate but not too much. I did it by hand with sandpaper, but a dremel would make it quicker.

As for the engine/pipe combo, I have just started to lean it out a bit and am at the end of my first gallon. Engine starts right up, idles forever without dying, and best of all has a ton of power. I'm running a carbsmart, which gave me a few extra minutes of run time as well, but overall it's a winning combination in my book.

my buddy and I got tt53 redline and the MP5. Not sure if something changed with newer motors or the MP5 build, but there is alot less clearance now. Previous threads talked about notching the frame on the bottom for the MP5 weld. Now we needed to clear about 1-2 mm along the length of the bottom brace as well or the muffler would rest on the frame. Also the tail end of the muffler came very close to the tank.

Easy fix though. Heliproz sells a muffler accessory kit for $2.99. Search my thread for my 600N pro and I had a link in there for it, describing our issues and the fix.
