Im out of aviallable power on my Rx, instead of using a "Y" connector. Can I get the power from one of the Acc slots on the Thottle Jockey Revlimiter? I already hooked it up here for setup and everything seems to work OK. But when I fly do you guys think I will get any funky interaction that will mess things up? Has anyone else tried this?
Thanks for any input.

You might be able to and that makes sense.... But have you already used the open pins on your gyro gain lead to the RX?

There's alot of people doing that. It works great. The carbsmart/servo don't draw enough power to create any problems...

Thanks guys. And no I have not used the open pins on my gyro gain lead. Nice suggestion though. Never even thought of it. I will have to keep that in my bag of tricks. Thanks again.

that is how I set mine up based on advice not to use a "y" splitter.

No problem.

Hi All,

Just for the record, I'm using a double Y harness off my governor slot for both my CarbSmart and my EagleTree data recorder. I've had absolutely no issues and I'm using a Spektrum AR7000 receiver. CarbSmart and the EagleTree are both low draw accessories.

Keep 'em flying.:YeaBaby:
