my dx7 satelite wires have come away at the point were they come out of the receiver, & i was wundering if i could take it apart & solder two new wires on.. would it work the original wires are still attached, but they are basically stripped, so i either need to mod it or buy a new one.. whats your thought's :confused:

send it to the manufacture. they're in the states:-\ it MAY be cheaper for you to just purchase a new one. is it a AR6XXX or an AR7000? you ARE talking about the grey wires right?

There is a Horizon UK. Send it to them for repair.

yeah its a AR7000 the grey wires they haven't snapped, its the wire case that has come away. the two grey wires are now bare iv ordered 1.5mm heatshrink hopefully il fix it as its brand new

Horizon Hobby repaired my AR7000/remote which each had a broken antenna, they also replaced the case with the newer style which supports the antenna wires.
