Would anyone happen to have a fiberglass top for a Kavan Jet Ranger.
(The part that covers the top of the fuse cabin area and the main shaft goes through it) I bought a fuse while at IRCHA, but it is missing the top, along with some of the windows and other minor things. Everything else shouldnt be too hard to make, but If someone has the top cover it would be a great help.

Thanks

Dwight

I saw a complete Kavan JR for sale over on RR. It was a few days ago, but it might still be there.

:glasses2: :arggg: Hi guy, are you still in need of a JR3 fuselage top? I just signed on to this deal, saw your post! I have a number of Kavan Jet Rangers, and I have a fuse top without a bottom I would part with for , say, $10.00 plus shipping. It's new, never been installed, so you would have to put your wood in it and fit it to your fuselage.
Unlike some mfgrs., the kavan Fuse was layed up in separate molds, so all components have to be fit. If you don't want to go through all this email me at <colbrucek@swbell.net> bruski
Also scale items, windows, etc., check out Vario. Their big J R3 is the same size as the Kavan(not the Monster, the gasser).

Fantastic! I knew that eventually someone would have one they could part with...(Can ya tell I'm happy :^)

So as not to waste bandwidth on HF I'll be emailing you with request for your mailing address to send a MO or paypal the funds to you. You just made my day!

And welcome to HeliFreak. You wont find a better group of folks anywhere!

Follow up-
Just to let you guys know, I got the top cowl from Bruski today as promised and it is Brand New!! The best part is that he sent it to me shipping included for $15.
This is what sets HeliFreak people apart from some of the other boards. He had something that I needed, and didnt try to gouge me. (Matter of fact, in my estimation, I owe Bruski big time for the deal he gave me) I was pmed by another fella on another BB telling me he had a used one he would be willing to part with for (get this) $150.00 We're talking about a 6" piece of chopper gun fiberglass that weighs less than an ounce. Just goes to show ya, some folks are always out to take advantage of someone in need, and then there are others like Bruski who are willing to help a fellow heli guy out without making a sinful profit from it. Thankfully, Helifreak attracts a lot of the second kind :D
I've been on a lot of BB's in past years (mostly automotive performance, as I used to drag race, since 1962. - now that tells my age
Helifreak is without a doubt the best group of folks I have ever had the pleasure to be involved with.
You guys rock
