I've just fitted a Revmax on my Knight Sport and set the idleup curves to a shallow V 100-90-80-90-100 on the ground it works fine and limits the headspeed to a sedate 1800 id1 and 1900 id2

When flying if I loop or roll as I pull off the pitch towards center stick the head sometimes (not always) revs like crazy for a couple of seconds before the unit kicks in again and the headspeed drops to its set value.

I notice when the heli is on the ground and the engine is ticking over that the sensor LED flickers (ie it is glowing dimly then suddenly flashes brightly at random then goes back to dim glow) I would have expected a constant steady glow - not sure whether this is an indication something is wrong with the unit or sensor?

any suggestions please?
tnx

Are you sure your sensor is setup correctly. I.E. Do you have the spacing and polarity correct?
