New look belt

Hi everyone Having done the mechanical Mods I wanted I have finally got round to giving my heli a new look

I was going to buy a canopy and give it a custom paint Job,

but this one was only about £9 so it'll do for now!

I didnt mean to copy your colors Grant I didn't realize till it arived how similar it was:thumbup:

Dont worry about the colours lol, those align canopies just look so sleak.
I may buy myself a new one tommorow as the smash the other day has ruined abit of mine now.
I'm off to the model shop early in the morning to pick up a new motor - My scorpion has broken somehow so I'm buying the 430XL for now and call the people i bought the scorpion from to see what they think - hopefully upgrade it to the HK 2221-6, then it will go like:badair:!
You will enjoy flying it more now :lol:

Yeah I read about your motor it's been a bad couple of days for you:(

My heli looks much better now I was so ashamed of its appearance next to the EXI

What sort of flight time will you get with the HK 221-6?

I havn't gone into motorsw and ESC's yet but I suppose I'd better start seeing what its all about.:)

With an 11 tooth pinion on 3s it only draws slightly more current than the align 430XL motor, which i will probably do first. Should get reasonable flight times, maybe 1minute less than my current times at the most. I might then try with a 13t and have some CRAZY head speed - i mean CRAZY!!!! but then flight times will be over quite fast, but man it will be fast and powerfull (200w more than my current motor!!!!)

Looks good Ian. The Trex canopies really give the Belt a sleeker, meaner, bigger look. Mine is just a white one, but I will "bling up" when my flying deserves a better one!!!!!!!!!
