Yeah I should get some vids today when son is home.....painting blades GREEN right now.....
Kindling, its all good have a new kit on order. I was just too impatient and made stupid mistakes concerning batteries.

I did that with my CPPro and it cost money, but not that bad. I had a battery flame on me but I got it down before it burned up. But it did hurt getting my hand burned

what kind of paint do you use, and will it stick to the wood blades? Does the extra weight of the paint affect anything?

Copied Otto and got a can of flourecent green from home depot, just have to make sure to balance them.
Edit: oh yeah since this is the RIP 600 thread thought it fitting to post the re-birth is comming soon! Just received the new kit yesterday will wait for metal upgrades to come in before I build and still need some 4-5000MAH batteries - should be back in the air within a couple of weeks.

Yea hurry up I want to see the the new blades. hovering real low and sucked up some leaves.... Tore them to shreds..... ( it was real cool ) :lol:
took some paint off one blade have to repaint..... white canopy showed up.... still thinking of how to paint it .

I had to re-read that a couple of times --- thought you tore up your purty blades but it was the leaves you tore to shreads - that would have made a cool video :)
I will need pics of that canopy too.......Hey I need someone to copy from :)
I just put a clear coat on, then just have to balance and I will make a video sure looks sweet I painted the fins too. No design just all GREEN.
