NEU 1107H/2Y just got it back from Steve Neu with a clean bill of health and is still in the box. This is the heli version and runs extremely cool and efficient making extreme power. This motor is for a Trex 450, Mini-Titan & Beam size helis.

i just replaced my medusa 28-32-3400 with a neu 1107h/2y and all i can say is WOW! hard 6 minute flights at 3200 rpm on 4s and the motor isn't even warm! first flights were today and i'm still amazed at how efficient this motor is.

A couple of questions;
What cell count do you run on this? 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 ??
Motor wires out of the bottom or top?
What size ESC would I need?

I've heard a lot about the NEU's but never ran one. I'm running the scorpion 6 in one of my birds now. How's this compare?

I've never used a Scorpian so I couldn't tell you how they compare.

I've ran it on 3s & 4s but it's main design is for 4s

Wires run out the bottom then up the side

Phoenix 35 with an external BEC (Medusa Potencia 6v, 2.0 amp) if you run it on 4s
Phoenix 35 with with internal BEC if you run it on 3s

On 3s it runs very well and cool with a 13 or 14 tooth pinion.

On 4s with a 12 pinion it's a wild beast!! It still runs very cool on 4s being just above ambient temps and is super efficient. Seriously Unbogable!!

Normal timing.

I ran it with a 4s 1800 25C Flightpower Lipo.
I hear it works awesome with the 4s 2100 Evolite.
Both those pack weigh about 185 grams.

If you want to run on 3S definately get a 15T pinion. That's when it really comes alive on 3S and will give you 3340 RPM.
