Is there a set of Align skids that are shiney silver (stainless looking)? I just ordered a set with yellow plastic legs and it came with like a grey coloured Skid. I asked for silver!
Looks alittle like a matt dark silver I suppose:arggg:
I paid about £7 and cant be bothered to return it but I feel robbed as I still dont have the colour I wanted.
Problem is I think it will match the boom I have and therefore Im stuck.
What do you think? Here is a pic of my belt previously

These are the skids they sent

Opinions please?

I like that color, and if it matches the boom...
Anyway, HR1035 looks sort of shiny - and you can always polish aluminum if you want a mirror finish :glasses2:

Could see them better if you removed the bag:YeaBaby:

That would also sort out the problem of being tempted to return them :D
You were robbed, though - the silver ones are $3.95 for a bag of four...

Lol left them in the bag as I was debating to return them.
Like the shinney skids but I have fitted the ones I have to solve the problem.
Will Posts some pics hopefully tomorrow. My heli should be finished by tomorrow night when I finally get to fit my Microheli tail.
Thx for the help.
We could do with a few more stickys. Like wibbles best mods and alternatives and maybe a belt pic thread (May already have this not sure:oops:but if there is it should be a sticky)
I use the pics thread as a reference for my own heli. For ideas and stuff.

The boom and skids look good together.

From the previous site we frequented, 6 puonds for skids, unbelievable!!!!! i could get 3 full sets of skids for that (plastic legs included).
this is why they didnt like posting links to other vendors on their forum.... They must feel people are dumb and dont know how to search the net for cheaper pricing..
Whoops... someone didnt :)

:YeaBaby:£6 for 2 booms not skids!
I got an align skid set with skids, plastic legs, and aerial tube for nearly £6.
I always search the net to see who is cheaper

We get held to ransom a bit in the UK Postage from US and Honk Kong is high and
The UK shops are nearly the same in pounds as you pay in dollars. Even the other site
will match any price from other uk dealers if it's a 'genuine' offer.
What size are the Screws on the Esmart Wolfie? I was going to buy the eflight spare screw pack because the it has twice as many screws in it as the Belt one for the same price, but was told they wouldnt fit. When I asked if they were mostly M2 they said they didn't know but they wouldnt fit:arggg:
Is this true??
