hello,i got a problem, hope someone can help me out. im new to helis.
ive got a 600n that was set up by the local heli guru for me,it flew fine the first time i hovered it,but it had a glitch in the radio.to make a long story short it crashed.changed
to 2.4 on the radio, replaced main blades because covering was torn, landing gear was broken, and tail blades were nicked so i changed those as well.got it hovering again,no glitch, adjusted blade tracking, flys fine.but tail was wagging very fast.wasnt doing that before, have reduced gain hh 401 from 60% to 30 %.this almost eleminated the wag. is this normal? also can still see
the vertical fin shaking pretty good.could this still be some wag cousing this? or maybe vibration from something?.any help would be greatly epriecated, mike

vert or horiz fins shaking is a sign of a bent shaft or out of balance blades , usually just a bent tail shaft or main or spindle... check them and you'll probably find your problem , the tail wag with the gain at 30% is a little low , most people i see running 401's have the gain in HH around 40 ,but i'd fix the vibe first, that might be interfering with the gyro....

I would also check the tail slider and make sure it is not bottoming in either direction. Equal travel both ways.

30% gain is pretty low. I think setting it that low is just masking a problem. Mine is at 55 with the same setup.
