Hey is it a real big deal if I use an 1500mah battery instead of the stock 1800mah one? I have one sitting around doing nothing LOL
I know it will be a short flight time ( I am only hovering tail in right now) But will the low mah hurt any electronics ?

You should be ok then. Just make sure you do not over discharge it by running it too long.

Well, I get 7 - 8 mins on an 1800 just hovering. If I had to guess, I would say 5-6 mins?

How much volts is left? Thats way too low I guess. I run my 1800 about 5-6 mins coz its hard to charge if I go further. The rule says not to go lower than 80% of the pack, I might be wrong please shed light to this.

I do as they say. I fly it until I have to give it more stick to keep it up. And that lands me between 7 - 8 mins on the avg. My batteries are still doing well. Two have been charged numerous times. One is brand new.

Oh thats fine. Even I don't use the tx timer, when she sinks down I try to land her. I might try to put a minute more and see what happens.

Helimix do you still have your gear on?

Yep. I have thought about taking them off for I know it will fly differently. But I think I still want to leave them on until I have some low level scoots down pat. I can hover tail in fine and move it around corner to corner. I just want to make sure I am ready for nose in and such before I remove them. They give me a lot of wiggle room when it comes to bringing it down quickly.
