Hello everyone, new posting here, new to electric helis, not new to heli flight :-)

got tired of the glitching with the eflite radio so it seemed logical to use the 7202

after sorting out the connections and plugging up to a Hitec electron rx, i'm getting weird
gyro/rudder with the 3 in 1, its like the t/r-gyro is linear with the throttle/collective...
advancing the thro/collective whirls the tail motor allot harder than the stock radio

first thought was a reversed rudder, that wasn't it (checked movements against the eflite radio using servos)

thought i plugged it up wrong, checked it over with servos and nope, the sticks move the right control, argh

tried lessening the t/r throw, it delayed the t/r whirl but not enough

This almost makes me want the "super mantis/commander" hybrid back ;-)

have you tried bringing you endponts on your rudder channel down?

yes but the biggest problem was o/e :-)

am thinking the 3 in 1 is going bad tho, at hover and slowing/descending from foward flight there is a power drop then recovery.

Its happened on the stock eflite radio, a hitec electron and now a spcm 790UL

Are you using a HH gyro? You may want to try ome revo mixing if you aren't using a HH gyro.

just put a Zoom/Telebee hh on it, haven't flown it yet.

amazing how small the thing is, cheap too.. the first peizo gyro i ever bought was a Sundance, $200 and it held as well as a jr 120, at least it didn't use as much battery :-)
